havnt used photoshop in ages, so cant remember the stuff, however you should fix her hair to show some of the background through, then blend that.

Use the magic want tool to select the bits of the hair that should be transparent, but youll need to mess with the colour tolerance on the magic want tool to get the magic wand fill right on her hair.

also you want to protect some of the hair definition from blending too much, so select the bits of hair with the magic want tool and invert the selection( may also need to do that with some of the background definition )

Dunno if that helps mate, its hard to explain in text lol

*EDIT* oh yeah, pic looks great btw

back in the day i had to do an 8 hour photoshop test on new Apple machines that were to be released, so did an image composition with AT-AT's and snow speeders on a landscape image, when i was finished my fecking supervisor said i downloaded it lol

You also need to balance the colours, as she would never look like that in that setting. A shadow cast by her onto the wall wouldnt go amiss either.
It will tricky as her face is in a shadow made from a light different to the one thats produced the wall shadow.

Why not post both images seperately, then we can have a go?

Work with layer masks to blend her in, adjust colours by using Curves (each channel separately).

    Not bad Pyro.

What you could do is increase the white input so the picture is almost blown out to white, then adjust each colour channel on the angel picture to blend in with the background, its a lot easier to blend it in when you're only looking at matching whites and shadows!

This is about as good as I can do without the original PSD (saying that, I only spent around 2 mins doing it lol)

Thanks man. It was my intention to give her more of an angelic appearence, by giving her the impression of arriving from thin air sort of. Great images to work with. I changed the colouring slightly and added two moons for effect, and made the sparkles glow a little more

Maybe a few more sparks at the bottom and make her foot disappear completely?
