any 1 test performance of this driver?
Does this fix low GPU usage on black ops ?
btw when is it officially releasing for 250 GTS/WIN 7 32bit
TheHunter tested a few games at the top of the previous page. Nothing comprehensive yet though.
Yeah, it seems the cars benefit more from forcing AA than the scenery but that doesn't surprise me anyway as they're the only objects that don't use deferred rendering. That said, I've looked at the dozen screenshots I took last night and apart from the odd fence and railing much of the background scenery appears far less jaggy than before so, overall, I think NVIDIA have done an outstanding job of supporting AA.
It's a shame that Criterion didn't put the same amount of effort into adding it in the first place because even the console versions had 2xMSAA added to the cars. It shouldn't be up to the driver teams to support AA anyway, it should be an in-game option always on the PC. It would be if developers didn't insist on sticking with DX9 for games. uke2:
IDK but Windows 7 Aero seems a lot snappier with these drivers. Every game I have played so far including wow seems to have the same effect, snappier, smoother. Nothing bad about these to report so far. Keepers for sure. ;^)
I dont understand if this driver set is good or not compared to 265.90.
On my desktop it seems that have the same performance, on my laptop which runs a sli 9800m GTX seens.....meh...confusing. A mixed bag indeed.
SLI in Black Ops seems a bit worse, problems with gpu usage going high and low all the time, i had to force 4xAA to keep it stable.
Anyone with GTS250 sli or 98xx sli that can make some tests as well?
anyone have win7 x64 gtx460se inf file? Thx
Should work fine.
you see wasn't that hard btw clever timing Nvidias Anti Terror Command can do absolutely nothing vs this leak they have to accept it, though i guess Forum owner here wont be very happy if he comes back of his new year preparations, will be to late anyways
Next time please a little more silent also in your interest anyways thx they don't seem very different code wise then the 265.90 on the first sight compared to the last 295.90 the 263.14 look more different to those two new ones which seems natural being newer they most likely include new code. Also i guess those are Debug Drivers thus why performance got down a little.
driver stopped responding in sniper ghost warrior and a lot of graphical glitches in that game. back to 265.90 quadros :nerd:
I have just tested 266.44 with BC2 for the past hour and a bit... I have found this drivers to be very stable indeed with zero issues in-game for me at least.
Also I have found 266.44 to give a huge increase in FPS performance in BC2 over 260.99 & 263.14 @ 1900x1200 DX10 x4aa + x16as. Im now getting 80-100+ fps in nearly all situations 20-24man servers. (tho i have seen it drop to 71-76fps in heavy combat but no lower).
Im gonna test DX11 now... + Just cause2 & starcraft2
GPU utilization is up in SLi multiplayer.. also not by much, but its up & the GPU temps seem to be lower buy 2 or 3c with both cards running at 37-40c.
Im very happy with this leaked beta my average fps is up by 10fps in BC2 and in some cases even more.
ty phk... & Jemcik for the link
Game runs fine here. GTX 460/Win7-64
still low gpu usage
slower than 263.09
windows xp better performance
and windows 7 like before, low gpu usage...
Are those drivers worth the upgrade from 263.14??
i cant see this bettering the 265.90 quadros so i aint gonna bother trying, most official drivers are not as good as quadros,or betas.
still need gtx 460se win7 x64 inf file
That INF TheHunter posted should have your card, and everyones card. Thats why I posted it to you, which you seem to have ignored.
i think you answered someone not me INF don't work for my gtx 460SE 1gb Sorry for my bad english
