Installed just fine for me. computer does not lockup or freezes after updates. Keep in mind that updates are not allways user friendly with overclocking. Try unclocking your your hardware before you update then overclock afterward.:argue:

l have mine in raid/ide, and 10 hours later it still starts up properly, maybe other updates or program is making it not work properly. as l only have the drivers and updates on at the moment, no programs, will post more later tonight when l install everthing else

    Installed on laptop.
Booted up fine, but didn't notice a shorter bootup sequence
I used to get a hang when opening internet explorer sometimes, havent experienced that yet.
Havent noticed anything battery length wise, but I havent tested that yet.

Dont think i will be installing this on desktop yet, especially if people are reporting fps losses

Woho! There's new revision of this update available at: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941649

It's now 2.0 vs. 1.2 which killed my Vista. I'm not sure if I want to try it out again though :/

It installed and working without any problems here (using Vista Ultimate x86). Although I fail to notice any actual improvements :D

It improves the stability of wireless network services.

does this mean its eliminated the lag spike i get every 60 seconds due to Vista searching for wireless networks?? can i go back to wireless?? as im not risking trying it i suppose ill never know :leave:

I wonder does it mean that 32bit drivers might actually install on 64bit windows?

I'm getting more and more crashes now then ever before. Kinda getting cheesed of with Vista and the fact that after 8 months it's about as stable as a rocking chair.

Gahh I hate it, hate it damn it!!!!

My system will not boot up with this or the usb hotfix released with these. My boot up bar will move and then freeze every few seconds. Safe mode hangs. I was able to use restore points from start up disk, but it was a pain in the ass cause the start up disk gets BSOD if i have all four memory sticks installed....vista=****ing gay.
