I'm on Windows 10, they downloaded and installed via Windows update.

    Edit.
Well its not the display driver at fault, it is working fine as i can run games and 3D Mark DX12 tests etc - its the CCC itself, it simply won't open.

Installed 1040 drivers for a test, CCC works just fine when using these, so i can access CCC with 1023.5 and 1040, but i can't access CCC at all with 1023.7 - weird.

Try to install the drivers the way I did. See my post 68. MY CCC works fine.

    Thanks for the driver Asder00!

I did some benches before i uninstalled the 1040 drivers.
    Here are the 1040 results:
    3DMark API Overhead
    3DMark FS Extreme

And here are the results for 1023.7:
    3DMark API Overhead
    3DMark FS Extreme

Lower DX11 scores on the overhead test but higher Mantle scores.
FS Extreme on the other hand does show improvement by almost 100 points.

Check the links for my system.

I have two issues. I use a r9 390. When I try installing these drivers in win 8.1,CCC in the task tray and when you right click on the desktop, the ccc disappears from both and randomly reappears every few seconds. Might be a windows 10 thing,I don't know. Also, when I installed, the driver I got was a r9 200 series driver although in CCC (when i could see it) showed the proper hardware of a r9 390 and ram size of 8gb. Asder00, Can you mod the driver to include the r 300 series if possible? And Asder, are your modded drivers still working on windows 10 as wddm 2.0 drivers? When I installed the 1st time, it was on windows 8.1 64 bit where I am having these problems.

i installed these on windows 8.1

all is good so far, but project cars did not want to use my 2nd gpu in crossfire until i forced it in CCC to use the pcars profile. what does this mean? also, in CCC, there is only a pccars.exe crossfire profile, and not a 64 bit version one.

with forced crossfire, getting crap perf - all ultra on 108-p getting 45fps. terrible.

W10 is stable for gaming but wait for RTM, it's just around the corner.

Right now there are a lot of builds and drivers released.

It games better then win 8, however right now at this moment there are too many drivers out there on several driver branches so for gaming have to find the right ones for your games even if they are not Win 10 build drivers.

Also win 10 build 10162, and 10159 both introduced audio issues across almost sound chips, in other words an issue in windows not the audio manufacturers. There are some temp work arounds but audio is very easy to break.
