    Asder, bro, will you post these new drivers? :)

    P.S. How long did it took you ppl to download newest build update trought Windows Update? I started downloading, but it's still on 0%, even tho my internet is working slow as f**k (guess it's downloading, but don't know why is it taking so long).

    WU is not as fast as direct download of the ISO and in-place upgrade.

    W10 has an option to mount ISOs so easy job without 3rd party tools.

    So:

    - Download ISO for MS page

    - Mount ISO in W10

    - Do in place upgrade (or new install...)

    Ok, thanks. I'll wait a bit more. If WU doesn't install newer build, then i'll do as you said. Tnx again, and sorry for my bad english.

    Thanks...my Win 10 update is not actually downloading these drivers. Also the 1023.5 apparently are included in this actual build.

    If you want you can force the download of the last driver from WU unninstalling the current driver and launching DDU cleanup.

    After the reboot from cleanup in safe mode the OS will install it via WU.

    Already went that route. It still installs 1023.5 drivers after it fails to download and install 1023.7. So I am just guessing that 1023.5 is now included in the win 10 iso, I did a freah install of win 10 this morning from the build 1062 iso from MS.

    According to the file names at least, these seem newer than the 1040!

    The location that Win10 stores the dowloaded build updates is located in a hidden folder here : "C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\"...

    The update is called "Install.esd"...

    It is a compressed & encripted file that must be reassembled using a tool provided by Microsoft : esd-decrypter-wimlib-4...

    Download the tool from my storage here : https://mega.nz/#!OIVFCRgT

    The above tool will also compile the iso for you after conversion... Installable from USB or conventional disk (can be virtually mounted too for upgrade purposes, not clean install, obviously)...

    I can not however locate the storage location for downloaded drivers :3eyes:

    The hunt for that location continues...

    INSTRUCTIONS for tool :
    ================

    1. Download & Extract tool to c:\

    2. Copy "Install.esd" into tool root folder...

    3. From tool root folder, right click & run "decrypt" as Administrator...

    4. Follow on-screen prompts, wait until done then store finished iso on medium of choice :banana:

    Hope this helps others that want to clean install instead of upgrade...

    Peace people :cheers:

    ADDITIONAL Info...
    =============

    For those of you wondering "How do I download the build update via WU without upgrading", the answer is simple...

    1. Download the build through WU but when asked to restart your PC to finish the Upgrade, Do Not Restart... Click cancel instead...

    2. you now have the Install.esd downloaded and compressed in the location I previously pointed to... You just need to follow the above tool instructions & you are good for clean install, SIMPLES !!! :lurk: Now get to it people :mhp:

    i uninstalled the 1023.5 with DDu then went to WU it downloaded a driver but failed to install it

    i rebooted and 1023.5 was there and yes it is included with this build of win 10

    THanks man...think I have them installed without recompiling them. Gonna wait for other peoples results but if I did it correctly then both mantle and dx12 take a minor to major hit in the API. Minor for DX12 and major for Mantle.

    "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\", the exact folder inside changes with every driver, I check the latest driver and inf changes on the device manager to know which folder.
