The 300 series is Nvidia's new dx11 cards, which are supposed to come out around March or later.

I'm new to this hobby so don't take my advice too seriously, but it might be a good idea to wait till they're released and see how things turn out with the price war after.

That sounds good, and I suppose I can just OC my 9800 GTX+ a bit. :)

You can use your 9800GTX+ for another 3+ month and get the 300 series =)

Just wait for the Fermi in the next 3 months.

...or get a Radeon 5850 if you just can't wait.

In that range, as Cybermancer said, 275 is an option. If you DX11, get 5850 for more. They should get cheap when Fermi comes out, so I would wait..

Thanks for the advice, everybody. :)
Yeah, I probably should wait until the next series comes out, because there will most likely be a massive price drop in the 200 series. That's pretty much what happened with the 9 series.
