    AMD Noise Suppression for everyone?

The Noise Suppression was added to official drivers for RDNA2 GPUs just recently. But unofficially, it is available for older GPUs as well.

This technology is based on an AI algorithm that reduces background noise for input and output audio. It is somewhat a long awaited alternative to NVIDIA RTX Voice,
which supports a much broader range of hardware, including GTX 600 series. Furthermore, NVIDIA has already integrated this technology into their “Broadcast” app for game/video streaming, so AMD still has catching up to do.

According to AMD only Radeon RX 6000 GPUs support Noise Suppression technology right now, but this is not exactly true.
As it turns out, custom “NimeZ” drivers for pre-RDNA GPUs which based on the latest 22.7.1 release now support this technology as well.

NimeZ drivers are available for Terascale, GCN and Polaris-Vega-Navi GPUs in three separate packages.
Only the last group received 22.7.1 driver with Noise Suppression unlocked.
The new driver was released as a monthly update, and it is now available for download here.

AMD Navi 31, Navi 32, Navi 33 "RDNA 3" GPUs For Radeon RX 7000 Series Graphics Cards Detailed

AMD confirmed that its RDNA 3 GPUs will be coming later this year with a huge performance uplift.
The company's Senior Vice President of Engineering, Radeon Technologies Group, David Wang, said that the next-gen GPUs for Radeon RX 7000 series will offer over 50% performance per watt uplift vs the existing RDNA 2 GPUs.
Some of the key features of the RDNA 3 GPUs highlighted by AMD will include:

    • 5nm Process Node
    • Advanced Chiplet Packaging
    • Rearchitected Compute Unit
    • Optimized Graphics Pipeline
    • Next-Gen AMD Infinity Cache
    • >50% Perf/Watt vs RDNA 2
Gamers should expect fluid 4K gaming to be buttery smooth on these graphics cards and with the FidelityFX suite offering next-gen FSR, SAS, and SAM support, we might even see playable 60 FPS at 8K resolution.

AMD Navi 31 "Plum Bonito" GPU Configuration
The AMD Navi 31 GPU, the flagship RDNA 3 chip, would power the next-gen enthusiast cards such as the Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card.
We have heard that AMD will drop CU (Compute Units) in favor of WGP (Work Group Processors) on its next-gen RDNA 3 GPUs. Each WGP will house dual CU (Compute Units) but with twice the SIMD32 clusters as opposed to just 2 on each CU within RDNA 2.
Rumors are that AMD has the option to select between Samsung and TSMC for the 6nm die.

    • AMD Navi 31: 12288 Cores, 384-bit Bus, 192 MB Infinity Cache, 308mm2 GPU Die @5nm
    • AMD Navi 21: 5120 Cores, 384-bit Bus, 128 MB Infinity Cache, 520mm2 GPU Die @7nm
According to the latest information, the AMD Navi 31 GPU with RDNA 3 architecture is expected to offer a single GCD with 48 WGPs, 12 SAs, and 6 SEs. This will give out a total of 12,288 SPs or stream processors.
This is an increase of 2.4x in cores compared to the 5120 SPs featured on the Navi 21 GPU. The GPU or the Navi 31 GCD is said to measure 308mm2 and will come packaged on TSMC's 5nm process node.

GPU Price Crash Is Making It Hard For AIBs To Offload AMD Radeon Graphics Cards Too, RX 6700 XT Drops Below $400 US, RX 6600 Below $260 US (wccftech.com)

A report from graphics card channel dealers published by MyDrivers states that ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI are having a difficult time trying to convince retailers and distributors to buy Radeon RX 6000 series cards for sale in the consumer segment. The reason is just like NVIDIA's GPUs which saw a huge price jump during the mining boom but pricing has now plummeted heavily. AMD's Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card prices have plummeted even worse than NVIDIA's GPUs & there is little to no demand for gaming cards right now.

^ good to see they all have too much inventory left, imho prices with the 6xxx gen also were too high.

    That's perfect. But...

Still way above pre-pandemic levels, for 2 years old generation which means 2 years less support.

It would be truly awesome if EVGA started to make cards for AMD and Intel. I'd get behind that, especially with the warranties they offer.

Rapid clock speed progression, hopefully it's faster than 4000 series.

meaningless without cost in dollars and performance. does n32 go vs. ad 103,faster than 3090ti or ad104,which is a 3090 level card ? cause it cost more across the board than the latter.

Have feeling it will or at least be on par. Even if slightly less in perf, the BOM difference will enable AMD to offer a decent card at a lower price. Of course its all up in the air until we see actual performance.

AMD will price match Nvidia, they won't really undercut them
