    Hey man,
After reading your post I ran dxdiag and everything was fine and working. I am not sure what to tell you. I guess make sure you have DirectX 9c installed and updated. You can check this by loading dxdiag and reading the first page, it should have all that type of information. I am suprised you havn't noticed any problems without directx support. Let us know what happens, good luck

OMG I'm happy with 76.41 Provided I'm going from 67.02 to 76.41 I was waiting for the temp but to be fix and it has. Woot woot
    Look at this jump.

    2.8e@ 3.08 220fsb
    2-3-2-6 440mhz
    400/1100

    67.02 - 5167
    76.41 - 5581:eek:

    I can't wait to test @ 3.5 my last score was 5452 @3.5 & 425/1100 and I just beat that.
I'm betting I can break 6000 now and I use a 5:4 divider @ 3.5 I'm ganna drop my timings and see if I can run 500mhz with this ram.

Well I guess the "VIA BUG" must only be with earlier chipsets as mine seems fine. The temp bug is gone, haven't had a chance to play any games except I loaded up BIA just to see if the shutdown crash was still present, it's not. (67.03's bsod upon exiting the game)

Oh btw, some of you new people really need to hold your tongue so to speak. If you don't have anything nice to type, don't type anything at all. This thread is shamefull in places, where are the mods at? Someone needs to put the trolls in place. ;)

Thanks for that macatak, looks like there's bugger all in it. What's important to me is that they're stable, have good IQ and no temp. bug.

Before installing the 76.41's I made a Ghost image. I restored from it and dxdiag runs fine now.
Will try it again with the 76.41. Anyway I can always restore again.

    Hey macatak,
I think I speak for everyone when I say thank you for once again taking the time to compile this list of drivers and how they compare to one another. It is really nice to have this information without having to do all the work!

These drivers seem to work a lot better than the 75.90's and 76.10's with the SCCT Demo

cool but if you are showing pic instead of ORB then you should show in the screen what resolution you used because it is really easy to cheat:D (no offense man, I'm not saying it's a cheat) it's just get hard to believe that you broke 6K with memory only at 1120:rolleyes:

    Hey Guys,
Well, I also just broke 6k in 3DMark05. Now I realize 76.41 is not a supported driver but I am still pumped to get 6,065! I am not sure if this will come up as a link, but it is the path to my 3DMark05 Pro ORB score, it is only the default settings though, I don't have the AA or AF cranked way up:
    http://service.futuremark.com/servl...rojectdetails&projectType=12&projectId=711252

All of the benchmarks I have run tonight with this driver have gone up. The only thing that is different is the driver so I am just starting to think this driver is uber optimized for benchmarks, o-well, actual gameplay and image quality is up across the board too. The last praise I will give the driver is that my card is running much cooler than it did with 71.84. I guess the debate will go on about whether that is actual temps or just the driver but my card is also running very stable as well.

    Hey Guys,
Just want to make a quick edit, when I broke 6k last night, my score was only 6,051 not 6,065. Sorry about that, I must have been so happy that I incorreclty wrote my score down, sorry about that guys (Not that anyone cares, but I want to be correct with what I post). Take it easy guys!

    After

That 20% down and i cant be more happy with this driver. no gfx bug and driver 3 look more nice and fast. too bad its not WHQL.

Don't know if this will help you but there was someone else who fixed the temp problem with an SLI setup by switching the cards in thier slots.
