For the showroom simply select the car, click on change color, then there's a few icons in the up right corner, just select the one with 360 degrees icon iirc.
As for the video I'm tying to fix the shaking as I don't know why it does, but I'll make another one soon with a few advices I got from a friend!

EDIT: oh ive fixed the shaking, now its much better. Damn youtube auto correct, FFS.

This game rocks, f40 is a beast.

AI is looking amazing, at 100 ai setting it laps one second faster than i do. at 90 it laps about the same pace as i do.

Modding community is already making cars for this game, without any tools available, but the way i hear it most of the rfactor2 modders and so on have jumped ship to AC.

This sim is shaping up to be amazing, they seem to making rapid progress of late weekly updates near about adding more content, ai is already in the game for drag racing and race ai is somewhat working, you cant pass them or they give up racing atm lol. but the ai that is there is looking mighty impressive.

the jist of it is, you make an event and change the parameters to race, put in 2 cars or more.

There are also ways to just comment out the locked options menus and open up career and race menus and set up stuff that way, but the ai will not race at all via that method i dont think.

Loving this sim though, after xmas upgrading my rig entirely in part to max this out, but people that have hacked stuff to add 14 cars and whatnot have reported the fps is solid event with a full grid of cars.

oh wow, love that guy's fov/pov! it's so realistic! need to try something similar tomorrow.

btw, you guys on windows 8.1 (and probably w8) is there any way to get this to work with afterburner? I have to close afterburner for AC to start. Also, anyone running AC with 2x AMD gpu?

@Cerebus thanks now I can race against one AI-racer and have allso tried to add a full grid, to test the performance. Can't wait untill the developers add it to the game.

Will probaly have to buy a new wheel soon to get the most out of the game.

Damn, missed the sale price on Steam, hopefully it'll drop once more before the end of the sale. This looks very promising, if they add the F12berlinetta I'll be in heaven! I haven't played a racing sim since GTR.

Its ok - would be better if I could set the wheel up correctly AND if my Fanatec pedals worked!

F40 is a handful, most turns are 2nd gear only, and real unsettling under throttle less dead stone straight. My best is a 2:10 in the challenge mostly lapping in the 2:15 range.

My favorite hands down is the italia, can late break, throw the car into turns mash the accelerator, spending so much time in it in gt5,being my all time favorite car there also, it only took me a few laps to get a handle on the cars handling and capabilities.

F40 if anything in gt5 was more skittish than it is in ac, but i drove it mostly on the ring in gt5, and not that much so not a car i am nearly as familiar with.

One thing to note in the f40 i may advise, is the fact it only has 5 gears, turns on other cars that would be 3rd or 4th gear will be, 2nd gear mid rpm range to high 2nd gear rpm range.

I can never seem to get the wheel rotation right 270 is way too fast and 900 is unrealistic. Also it appears support for either my wheel specifically (most likely) or Fanatec wheels isn't great so I'm getting sod all feedback (rumble strips and thats about it - no weighting) and this is made much worse by the lack of working Fanatec pedals (brakes randomly sticking on and throttle pedal limited to 90%). When added up together its a nightmare - I suspect another wheel is needed.

The F40 is only a handful if your stamping on the loud pedal too much :p

I had to set the wheel rotation in the driver to 900 degrees, otherwise it would be too sensitive. I take it you tried that. Why don't you just set it to a rotation setting that works for you? if 900 is too slow for you, set it to like 650 or so?

AFAIK- AC has scaling for the wheel rotation.

I set my G25 to 900 degrees, and then set ingame controller settings to 900 degrees and it seems to set whatever lock depending on the car.

Check over the controller settings and make sure your driver profiles aren't fighting the game settings ...

@eclap, cerebus23, Yes the F40 is a handful... but would you want it any other way???
Instant love. Just got the 100km achievement in this car.

Remember, this thing is on 90's street compound, putting it on 'street' compound makes it a lot more predictable.
Playing with camber and tire pressures a bit makes it a bit more stable. was able to just break 2:12's at Mugello.

I run most everything dead stock straight and try to learn to drive the cars as is, according to the devs the recommended track setups are factory standard setups for the cars.

But yea dropping the back tire psi should make it more stable, there are times you can push the car flat out but it does not feel confidence inspiring, its a fun car a true example of early 90s race cars and a street legal one that that. It expect pretty much how i would expect a 1000lb go cart with a massive early 90s twin turbo v8 engine strapped to it, which is what the f40 is.

God i hope the big announcment is either the ring or mclaren f1. lambo or porsche would be ok :p but not a fan of the new lambos and i always hated rear engined rwd cars for their un race car like handling.

Mods will add most cars eventually anyway, but i really want an official 240 mph f1, or a nurmburg ring scanned ac style.
