Oh, it's not an old plate. As I said, it's a special plate issued to people convicted of DUI. Current Ohio plates are pretty boring, though they are also easily confused with diplomatic plates because of their coloring. I prefer our boring plates, they do what they need to and that's that. Normal people have more interesting things to do than to gorp at the back of someones car going oooo look at that design. Plus why are they so big in the USA anyway, are you all long sighted?
New York State is in the midst of a financial crisis and are looking for new ways to generate money to close their over 4 billion dollars deficit. This plate is merely a way for them to force the citizen of the state to help pay for their huge mistakes in governing. http://www.wivb.com/dpp/news/local/New_license_plates_unveiled_20091110 http://www.wivb.com/dpp/news/local/County-clerks-rally-against-new-plates
Ontario's are plain white with blue writing which I always thought were hideous but New York wins this one!
how much does does it cost to rent out ther in new york cause in the cali bay to rent a 2 bed room 2 bath it costs like 1700 to 2500 i'm lucky I got a place for 429.00
Here in cuse i have a 2 bed 1 bath for 830.00/mo hot water and heat included. Back on topic, they will say the plates were a bad idea in 2 years and do a diff design and charge again, i know they will, it's NYS
every state has more than a couple of designs to choose from. you dont need to change your plates, only the registration sticker. when my state changed to all newer plates i still used my old ones, just bought new tags. and our plates are reflective and they make them big so its easier to catch people on camera and easier for law enforcement to look up the vehicle without having to be right on their ass.
