I'm looking to get a new monitor to replace my old 27' HP flat screen monitor which is nearly ten years old now. I'm not a gamer but i've heard about these curved monitors and was wondering if anyone has bought one and are they worth checking out? What brands are considered the top of the line when it comes to computer monitors? I've read that it take at least a couple of weeks to get used to a curved one after being used to a flat screen but any help is appreciated.
IMO curved monitors can be great but only in specific scenarios. You would have to be at a certain distance from it to benefit fully from the curve. Ultrawides and multi monitor setups are the best choice for productivity. As for games, look at referesh rate and response time. These are the first things you should consider when buying. After that, choose some models to compare and post here again for more advice.
