New Massachusetts bill will treat video games similar to porn

Unless people smarten up and ban politicians altogether, the humanity is on it's way to be majorly screwed up the a$$ by the bloody dogooder wannabe politicians that practice the famous "do as I say, not as I do" philosophy...

 

It's even worse here in the UK. It's gotten so bad that a character in a pretty average show (life on mars / ashes to ashes) is lifting a show way above its stature just because he's so un "PC".

How is it that a few people with this "PC" agenda seem to be dictating content and laws for the vast majority who don't want to be looked after by a nanny state.

Please god let there be a revolution soon , the UK is long overdue one.

 

Unfortunately, if you do that today, you can go to jail for child abuse.

Who wants to smack their kid when he acts up at the grocery store, just to have the police give them a tap on the shoulder 5 minutes later. "We got a call that you were beating your child, you'll have to come with us.".

Today there's no distinction between a spanking and 'insane child hater abuser nutso'...

Yes, it's apparently moral to bankrupt the country with frivolous military spending over lies, but it's immoral to play video games.

I am beginning to hate this country and everything it stands for, because it becomes more apparent with time that it stands for nothing they would try and lead others to believe.

At least they weren't able to shoot down the second amendment in supreme court.

this government of ours needs to remember that they work for us, and not the other way around....or we're going to be forced to "fire" all of them.

I'm already all for that.

 

Surely you realise you should question everything you are ever told by authority? Surely you should be capable of critical thinking? i see no problems to this bill.. porn at a young age isnt the end of the world unless it's brought on excessively.. and then it becomes a life distorting thing.

same can be said with violence.

 

I still don't see whats wrong with it, if a game is an 18 then its for 18+

 

hey im 16, and i wouldn't mind getting the belt back, sure it hurt, but it sure did teach me lessons, and if there was the belt, there sure as hell would be ALOT more respect, and it would set kids right in a way, sure guys back then were raised of not showing any weaknesses, just because thats how men should be, but look at the world now, everything going soft.

 

The belt doesn't really work on children older than five :\
They (at least I) only get more angry from that point forward.
