    Hey everyone!

I just got my Tax return and I'm tryig to get ahold of a new graphics card. Right now I am using ATI 9700, but roommate needs it back. I'm basicly looking for something that would give my computer a extra kick, but still stick within a $200 price range. I was checking out Newegg but it seems that everything good nowadays is in PCI express. I'm yet to be ready to upgrade my whole system just yet. I can go between a ATI based card and a Nvidia. I heard great things about the 6800.

Let me know what you guys think!

6800nu/GS would be a good bet for you mate. As would a X800GTO16.

I am unsure of the pricing for these as I don't live in the US.

If you could spend a little more I would go for a 6800gt or 7800gs the 7800gs would be my first Choice but the 7800gs might be a little over kill for your pc.

get the 6800GS. Best bang for the buck, and it performs VERY VERY close to the 6800GT.

about the copper version, it shouldnt matter a bunch, unless you're in a hot location. With the stock cooler, my GT ran at 50C idle, and 60C load.....after i installed the NV5 Silencer, each of them went down by 10C.....
