    New graphics card?

I need an new graphics card for my old computer.

The current graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 4550 with 512 MB but i think it is defect (System shuts down sometimes in FACEBOOK videos.)
May be there is not enough with 512 MB Video Ram.

I have found some here what is bet best to take (Wich one to take or maybe an AMD)?

they should all play "facebook videos" fine, are you sure its not a psu issue?

tbh id consider a whole upgrade with an integrated apu from amd. and some cheap ram.

The problem comes only when there is an video involved

    Like the background video here:

    https://npf.dk

    It's not the PSU

But the problem is with video I think there is not enough with 512 MB video ram.

System lock's and blue screen comes and counts down 10 sec. to system shout down.

The system is 10 years old, yes? When was the last time it was cleaned out? Dust buildup could easily cause system crashes like that.

Of all listed ASUS GT1030 is best but.. why so low end? Why not something like gtx 1050\60 or 1650?
If you oc cpu it can handle more than that. Mine old rusty 860 is oc`d to 3.5 and can handle even new games @almost-high
As for gpu issue.. old ati have many problems with modern mp4@1080p and vp9. Do you use latest available whql or modded drivers, Platform update installed?
There also a chance that your motherboard can`t supply 75w pci-e(gpu doesn`t have additional power connector so it`s use power from slot) anymore due to degradation or defect it. Check voltages in AIDA64, maybe psu or motherboard doesn`t supply enough.

What is bsod code and text? Maybe it`s related to browser or drivers and can be fixed without replace.. however if i was you i really want to change such ancient gpu. Anything is better that radeon hd gpu dropped by amd with forever broken drivers
