I want to be able to play Vanguard, EQ2, EQ (Multiple versions) and Oblivion on high-extreme graphics. Will this computer do the trick? Not sure what else I can do to tweak the price, I plan on OC'ing mildly to moderately (new to it).
If you want high resolutions and large textures, then you need to get 8800GTX or 8800GTS 640mb, 320mb is not enough.
two what? video cards? just because you have 2 320mb video cards does not get you 640mb of ram for your games. you still will only have 320mb because in order for sli to work both cards must have the same data in their memory banks, so you still only get effectively 320mb of ram since both cards memory banks will contain identical information.
he is saying he's buying 2 comps. the tuniq tower is the cpu cooler, not the case. i agree that the tuniq tower would be the better buy. i own one myself, and its the best air cooling solution atm. this thing is pretty damn huge (it should fit in your antec 900.) i also agree with getting the 640mb 8800gts or gtx as some games out and in the future will eat up quite a bit of memory. but, overall your comp looks good and enjoy
Why don't you save yourself the extra $50 and assemble your comp when you get it. Don't you know how it's all done? Mike.
if youre going to spend 3000 on hardware, at least spend the $50 and let them assembe it instead of risking screwing things up you'll never know what could happen right? so at least if something goes wrong youre not to blame.. thats from a guy like me who almost fried his CPU coz i forgot to to lock the pushs pins (turned the pins in the wrong direction) on my e6300s HSF...
How will he ever learn if he doesn't take the dive to assemble his own stuff? It's usually carelessness that leads to disaster. It's up to him though.
I have assembled them in the past, and can do it again but dont have as much time as I did before. I would rather have them do it for $50 (whats $50 when im already spending $3000) and get it right the first time and hopefully in less time then it would take me to get them both assembled.
