    Tried CNC3 no issues on my rig. I have always received the stop error in Veesta x32 with all versions. Would just like to add I removed the previous 101.70 drivers(Nvidia recommended on Vista) and installed 165.01.

    Will stress test these more when I get home tonite.

    3DMark06 scores:

    100.65
    GEForce 8800GTX

    Seems to run slower then the 158.16 for me!

    158.16 = 10636
    165.01 = 10570

    Oh for F*** sakes!!!

    I'm just going to bite the bullet and disable memory remapping and fall back to 2.5Gb, thats a whole weekend wasted installing x64 just for another 512mb increase over my original 2gb :(

    Theres a thread about this on the SLIzone fourms and a moderator has taken interest, hopefuly he can pass this issue onto the driver guys almost directly.

    Lame, lame, lame!

    Umm just a thought - since you are the ONLY person with this issue, quite possibly its not a driver problem but something within your system?

    I'm sure most of us are using LCDs on the DVI port. I've never seen that problem on XP, Vista x86 or Vista x64 with any drivers.

    Just add -nointro -noprefetch to your stalker shortcut and dynamic lighting will work without crashing, did for me anyway.

    Antialiasing setting can't be modified?

    Just installed them on my 7900 GT, used nvtweak to enable classic control panel, they run fine but I can't seem to be able to change the Antialiasing setting. I changed it to app. controlled, clicked on apply and it goes directly to "Off". Tried to click on OK instead of apply, same problem. Also tried nvtweak and rivatuner, both show the setting as being app. controlled but nvidia classic panel shows it's turned off??

    I do have a similar problem with an 8800GTS connected to a Dell 2405FPW LCD via DVI. With any Vista driver so far, on the first reboot after install it defaults to the native 1920x1200 which is perfect, but after rebooting again it changes to 800x600 and the maximum I can select in the control panel is 1920x1080.

    To get 1920x1200 back I have to go to the display setup section in the nVidia panel, choose "My display is not shown...", then select rigorous detection, then close the control panel. After that 1920x1200 is selectable again - but only until the next reboot!

    My 3D-Mark Score went from 8159 (using the 101.02 driver) to 8303.
    STALKER, CNC3 and WoW run smooth with the 165.01, no artifacts seen yet.
    No stability issues yet. Using WinXP Home 32-Bit.
    Eh, anyone now how to show your fps in CNC3?
    However, good job Nvidia.

    So anyone tried this on XP?

    If so are they better than 101.02?

    Isn't it a bit too much drivers for one day? lol
    Anyway, I'd like to hear some more opinions from people running this driver on Vista 32bit.. is it better than the officially released 158.18?
