Dunno, dunno, yes very stable for me, although as I've mentioned they break S3.

I could not get Vista Media Center to load full screen with 158.18.

But what I use is indeed OpenGL, same conf.ini as before, same driver quality setting too.

Funny, Expertool works just fine for me.

    Maybe POS user?

These drivers are great. In Lock On: Modern Air Combat, there used to be bad shimmering on the edge of the coast lines and such, now it is drastically reduced. Very good.

just tried the 158.16 .19 and .22, all of them have one bad thing compared to the 165....... do realy look worse in TDU with the shining/reflections on the cars.

so back to the 165 for sure now after a long session of comparing screens of them all.

165 worked great for oblivion and ARMA, but FSX crashed randomly and chess titans wouldn't even start!
But I found a fix, just updated my realtek soundcard driver and everything runs great! Who knew?

    Hi guys.

I really wonder are these really newer or better then the "latest" 162.18
    Beta ones from Nvidia?

Which one is better performance/quality/compatibilty wise? can anyone do some testing between these 2 :)

i have found drivers to be very individual system specific most the time, so the only way you will find out the results yuo ask for is to try both drivers yourself and compare :)

remember these drivers are over 2 month old now, dont expect them to be any better than lower numbered ones that have been released afterwards.

These are pretty old drivers 1heone, and this thread is also pretty old. Just in case you were thinking these were only just release or something because of the number (which remain confusing as hell). :D

yes these were pretty good drivers, but i suggest waiting for the next driver set, which was released then pulled to fix a few bugs, it should be up in a couple days max.

Sorry to burst your bubble and everyone elses. But if Nvidia does not release the driver by midnight PST, we get no driver untill next week. Nvidia rarely puts out drivers on weekends.
