I had this error. I also couldnt play some flashcontent and if I was playing a whole evening it would crash the game some times (bfbc2). I googled a lot and found that someone had removed and reinserted the card into the motherboard. I thought that was odd since I could play etc, but turns out it worked. The other fixes also proposed making changes to the ui (win7) and checking out memory (memtest).

But like I said for me it worked taking out and reinserting the card (I also took out and put in powercables and sata cables at the same time).

I see you also play WoW. I run WoW in DX11 aswell without any issues. Must be something else inside ur PC then wich causes ur Driver to crash.

Try updating your mobo drivers, sound drivers, DirectX, the works.

Also driver crashes are not an universal truth. Remember that each PC is a PC even if you have the same components.

I had this problem with my GTX460's initually and it was caused by a crap power supply that wasn't supplying consistant voltage/amperage. I replaced my Generic Raidmax 700W power supply with the 750W Corsair and the problem went away completely.

Not familar with your power supply, some power supplies even if they are rated for 750-800W or higher. Don't supply clean power and can cause problems for high end cards.

[Edit] Also might be the card itself... my 8800GT had this problem and I found out it stopped crashing the driver if I underclocked it by about 75Mhz. If underclocking your card fixes it, might want to try to RMA it.

So other than a boost to TW2 performance what else can we expect from this driver? If there are planned improvements to Crysis 2 DX11 I'll stop playing now and wait till the driver is released. Otherwise I'll just go ahead and finish the damn thing.

I'm of the opinion that this driver is either going to be a miracle worker or it's going to be a steaming pile. It's been forever and it seems like they keep pushing it back for one reason or another. Factor in a major numbering change and we're either going to have something that totally rocks, or totally sucks.

i don't think so. Maybe will introduce new bugs, but i think it will be fast.
