Installed these over the WHQL 260.99 drivers. No issues whatsoever. Didn't even need a reboot. I picked the "clean install" option. Nice going Nvidia. Haven't tested any games yet. Will see once light comes back.

It's the same physx drivers that have been out for ages.

is this better than 263.14 ?

and with this driver, is the GPU usage in Fall Out New Vegas and NFSHP increased ?

because i've recently only played FONV, NFSHP2010 and OddWorld OddBox.

And we have new drivers after three months of waiting ... after so much time i expecting the drivers are digitally signed, and now we have only beta with several changes. :/

for the last month, we've been having a lot of beta drivers, where were you ?

besides Quaddro WHQL driver also works, and that's not a beta.

Quadro drivers is not for GeForce drivers, and please show me whql drivers for geforce... One 260.99 from October 2010, and for 5xxgtx series 263.09.

I do not recall that the nvidia drivers seemed just as in 2010
Please nvidia, give us better support for geforce again!
Drivers issued in 2010 by nVidia was really little, not to mention the drivers with a digital signature.

    I'm puzzled.

These 266.35 drivers are betas yet where apparently delayed due to a bug. However, they are not WHQL certified so why didn't NVIDIA release them before Christmas as they originally planned to? The drivers are dated 21st December 2010.

Yup these have been the only official ones since then. The rest were modded. I've gone back to 263.09WHQL since this new beta driver is horrific for 3-Way SLI systems :puke2:

WHQL only meant that it was signed by MS, and usually outdated.

I wonder what manuelg has to say about these, because i recall he said that new drivers where certified and would be available this week.
Because theyre just betas with worse performance than leaked 266.44 plus the added bonus of sli being inusable.
If these are the driver he was talking about,my next system will house an amd card like i always did. Switched to nvidia in the few last years and almost regretted it.

Hell, even my old hd3870 was bashing badly my bro new 9600gt.
    This sux.

Yeah, WHQL just means its old, there have been many notoriously broken WHQL drivers, beta's are always the best way to go.

Some people just feel safer with WHQL's because they don't understand the process, and to them the word beta make them think they are unfinished, i would rather they used RC when appropriate, but they probably prefer having the "but its beta" excuse when things are broken.

So has anyone tested Dead Space AA with these, going to replay this game intime for the sequel.

KingpinZero, manuelg never said these would be certified, he said they would be passed for certification, and a beta would be released in the first week of the New Year.

He stated they would be betas -

    http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=187408&view=findpost&p=1170775

    This was from yesterday -

"Thanks. It will be posted in the beta section when it goes live. No new updates today so it is still scheduled for early this week. "

I feel safe with WHQL yes, beacause of M$ certification, the BETA drivers are untested, like 260.63 beta (problems with some gtx460 and gtx470, orange screen of death etc. or 197.75 with fan problems), so yes, WHQL is the way to go for me. People will say ''beta is better than whql'', NO is the same drivers, only change (mostly) is certificat from M$. But now i don't have any guarantine that 266.35 will function fine, so i will wait for whql, or for people positive replies for this drivers.... uffff
