I dont know why yall are all crying about this driver. It runs great on my system besides the little AA Problem that they have at the moment. Its not the end of the world. NVIDIA is top notch......they will fix it! I mean this is BETA anyway so its not official. It will be fixed before WHQL. I had no problems with 263.09 either! besides some low gpu usage!

I am waiting for fix from end of november.... :(

my PC is o.k., works great with other GPU.... but after installing gtx 460 its totally lost ... :(

    "What's this about?
So your machine was running just fine, well until you decided to upgrade and get all those nice Directx11 features and stuck in a 400/500 series card. Now you don't know what to make of it. Maybe it even ran fine the week before. Your machine now locks right up at the Windows 7/Vista Welcome Screen, it locks up before it even gets that far and if it actually makes it as far as getting into a game, well, it locks up within a few minutes even then. You even lockup while using Firefox. You might even try to RMA your card, but even that leaves you with the same lockups. So what's going on here? Well, you're not the only one! Here's a whole glossary on what's probably causing it, what works for some people and what not to waste your time with! Furthermore, it's without any assumptions or guessing. This is from the collected results of ACTUAL people that have the EXACT SAME issue as you. We know your system is fine, we know it ain't just you, and surely we're not all nitwits trying to run these cards with 300watt PSUs, or have them jammed sideways in their slots or the like with bits of our own drool clogging up all sorts of sockets and other various slots. Just like you, we've done everything we're supposed to do."

Why don't you name the games you have no issues with and I'll tell you the opposite...

when they release GT400 Series they can do so much better
    but they dont do it
they just want to sell us what they make... they just want to gain more money
    just want more money...
they mak us addicted to buy new card every year and now less than a year
they just want that we follow of what they build...
    Thats all the story

Strange I have no lockups when loading Windows 7 x64 Ulitmate, and also
not in Windows, and also no problems in games, the only problem i had with
Geforce 260.** drivers was that i had Stutters in movie when i use SLI.

So i do not know what the problem with your Geforce GTX 460 is, but i have no
problems of any of that kind, and i have no more Stutters in movies with this
    new driver:)

And this is a Beta, so it's normal that you can have problems with some
    program's or even Windows.

I also have all these games minuis SC2 and WOW, This driver is perfect with lag free, so not sure why some people are getting stuttering and such.

I also play SWG for like a good 6 years, but then again that should run fine. LOL.

Well that is kind of the goal of a corporation is to make money. While I agree that product support & quality has taken a dive these days, that is the economic climate these days none the less.

If you have problems with "all" games it is not the drivers!

I have 2x580 and I have almost zero issues. Exept the known AA bug with more than 4xAA in some games.

But computers are different so are the persons behind it.

Great drivers for me! No problems in terms of crashing, but I haven't had any crashes on games in any of the 25X.xx or 26X.xx series drivers.

    Games I play:

    F12010
    BFBC2 + Vietnam
    Team Fortress
    WOW
    SC2
    Black Ops

    All games @ 1920x1200 4xAA 16xAF.

I got the card new for the same price as the 460. They were both going for $180 at the time. and Im sorry the 460 is not faster.

Not faster than mine anyways. water cooled 850/1700/1700 with bios flsh to 470

The 460 is faster in some instances and at end of the day its cooler with less power draw so has more headroom to overclock much further so WILL be the better card (most Good reviews state this) !

Yes you are right the Geforce GTX460 1GB is faster and can also OC much
better then the Geforce GTX465, i can OC my without higher volts to GPU:
    815/Shaders: 1630/Memory: 2100 (4200).

And when i up my volts i can go with ease GPU: 900/Shaders: 1800/Memory:
2100 (4200), and that with air cooling, i also can go much higher with water
    cooling.

7 of the 9 games are faster on the Geforce GTX 460.

    Anandtech Geforce GTX460 1GB Review

This driver is pretty good for me, though its the only one I have tried since my new xmas build. Loads BO's as quick as the 90's and smooth to. Might go and try the 265.90's..

Well im using 9800m gtx in sli which is basically a desktop 8800gt.
Had some performance drop, unbearable in bc2,small hiccups in cod bo.
Switched to 265.90 and everything is fine again..althought i lost some fps in mafia 2 benchmark, dirt 2 and crysis. About 2-4 fps.
Well i do play bo and bc2 more than those,so ill wait the final build.

Well to quote myself..... sad I know.

I'm only playin BC2 at the mo, but I've found that if I set gamma AA correction to "off" it solved my weird artifacts described above ???

Still just runnin regular x4AA ingame (does that even do anything lol)

Either way somethin weird going on with with therse drivers, but perf is great and so is IQ, so i'll keep em for now.

Do you mean Transparency x2 Supersampling from regular NV control panel ?

Is it best to use ingame AA or control panel for this game...cos the ingame one seems to do jack squat
