Adds Ambient occlusion to Star Craft II !!
Theres no international version on nvidia.com, but you can grab ones from geforce.com (downloading right now).
Im gonna try these, but after using 265.90 quadros, my expectations are high.
But better to try these than the leaked ones - they looks shady to me (and in modes.txt have mobile gpus only while the inf contains gtx580 only...).
Fixes all my issues inc Custom HZ is not 1HZ out for my Custom RES's.
Also no glitches when I set up Multiple outputs with Sony FW900 CRT+CRT TV, normally RES's dance about when I change from default NTFC to PAL/UK, it went 1st time.
Only issue is there is no option to move desktop for my CRT TV (been missing for a good few drivers now) and the Gray Border will not disable after I enabled it to see how far I need to move it to the right.
Hey, Had a little go with theses drivers and no problems so far. BFBC2 is nice and smooth, IQ looking good and I can confirm that I have been able to force AA in NFS Hot Pursuit via nvidia control panel. I still cant use tri-sli in 3dmark 11 though.
No AA with 266.35 driver:
X16AA with 266.35 driver:
You're right, they are now
These drivers are great for DX11 programs and greatly improve scores in Heaven benchmark 2.0. But it looks like nvidia has heavily compromised everything else.
Vantage scores sucked balls with this new driver. In some of the Vantage tests it was as if 3-way SLI wasn't even activated and yet in other tests it seemed fine. Physx scores were lowered beyond belief. In the Flags test i was getting 69fps with driver 263.14. Tried it with beta 266.35 and fps refused to go higher than 40 in the same test.
Rolling back drivers now...
Can't believe after all those half-decent beta drivers that came before, THIS is the one they decide to post on their main website?
Epic fail nVidia. :biggun:
Great drivers. Single card owners rejoice. SLI owners.. oh well.
This is a very good driver for my racingsims, a very good IQ , very smooth and very fast loading times.
But when I restart Win7 I get a boot screen that looks like its loading to savemode when all the drivers get loaded?
Better than 266.44 ?
I didn't try that one, but better than 263.14
Reading through the GeForce.com forum it seems that you can force AA in Dead Space and The Saboteur with these and the 266.44 drivers by using the following AA compatibility flags, 0x004030C0 and 0x00411245, respectively.
The AA apparently blurs the image in Dead Space slightly but it's good to know that there's a working AA solution that doesn't involve using custom resolutions/downsampling.
bench...no issues so far..playing bc2:v later.
Can anyone with lower GPU usage in Black Ops report on these drivers? I'd test but I'm using on 266.44 atm and resorted to using XP boot atm (where I get 80%+ and twice the FPS).
I still get low gpu usage on black ops using the 266.35 driver and will most likely dualboot Windows XP from now on.
Win 7 32bit
Black ops - 40-80 fps
DX11 programs get a nice performance increase with these drivers but DX9 and DX10 programs get shot in the face. Physx is poor with these drivers too
I think you are having compatibility issues with your 3-way SLI setup. DX9 games work great on this set for me.
Has anybody got 3d vision to work?
finally, some official drivers
And released notes say improve SLI for games .... uke2:
