Tried out these drivers. Seem pretty decent on an SLI setup but haven't played a ton. Not seeing big improvements tho, still stuttering and so forth.

With respect to the whole Beta issue. People have the right to be angry with these drivers. EVERY TIME I speak with Nvidia support regarding a current WHQL driver bug they fall back on the statement "Give the beta drivers a try when they launch". This is usually the final answer get to any problem and it means I have to keep waiting for a new driver.

This type of customer service response builds and expectation for customers that the next thing to launch will solve some of their issues and at least be an improvement in some way from previous support. I do not agree that anyone frustrated with these drivers should be reprimanded.

I do not expect any guarantees with Beta drivers; however, Nvidia has failed time and again to produce clear improvements from driver to driver in this 258 and above series.

Maybe you should keep your opinions to yourself from now on.

well i said that too few times.. it depends to much on the driver, that's why its so cheap because they shifted all the important work to driver..(fan control, idle states, and god know what else)

If it really was too driver reliant, then that would mean Nvidia's drivers were getting much better, as recently its been the GTX500 cards that have been suffering the most.

From personal experience, and reading forums it depends too much on the end user in my experience.

It was too cheap and quite hyped and too many part timers bought one, not forgetting all those with outdated CPU's who slapped one in expecting uber performance

500 series have broken aa - they have HW idle states, Hw fan control and that's no where near 460gtx and its driver dependence..

    idfc im just saying.

Later I will check what driver I'm using. It's the same Realtek driver that came on the Windows 7 ultimate original disk and it doesn't cause any SLI issues. Windows update has an updated Realtek driver but that one vanishes SLI switches for me...

    + 2000

"Everyone" are sure that graphics drivers are the problem all the time.

    I do not think so.

Workin fine here, Win7 x64...fresh OS install.

played BC2 for 3 hours OC's at 800/1600/2000, no probs.

Not noticed any performance increase (or loss) so seems ok for now,:)
