Hairworks or any physx based computation will always hurt AMD, because of their lack of DX11 draw calls due to cpu overhead or limited tessellation performance. The initial launch of hairworks was poor anyway. Ran like crap on even the GTX 780. Gameworks is still garbage. I had triple 980s to run W3 @ 4K on launch with a 5960X. Yet triple cards caused microstutter, not because of it being low fps, or 3-way SLI, but because of hairworks being enabled. TressFX is superior, regardless if AMD lied or not. Both companies have, anyway.
