    sup gurus.

i just recently bought an antec 900 case. perhaps a silly or newbish question, perhaps not: any tips on making a safe transfer from one case to another? i've never assembled a computer from scratch, but i've replaced ram, power supplies and graphics cards before (add cpu+heatsink to that list sometime tomorrow when my e8500 arrives!). never a motherboard though. also what's the best way to counter esd without any specialty items?

    thanks

The best I can think of is just don't do it on carpet when I buy a new case I transfer things on my kitchen table, and always take your time do things slow and right the first time. have fun this is a hobby not a chore remember. good luck

make sure u fit the earth connector to new case's chassis before u place the pSU inside, or it'll blow up.

    just kidding. :)

always stay away from carpets, any static spark can kill you mobo, ram, vga, anything
