ATT required DirectX9c, can you install it under Vista? Without ATT will not be able to start

    @Ray Adams

ATT crashes immediately with Vista x64. I've PM'ed you the specific error code Windows shows. And, of course, there's this message about ATT's kernel driver not digitally signed for Vista x64.
You might want to have a look in the SpeedFan Blog for useful information about getting a certificate for your driver.

I've tried 2 versions now, but I keep getting:
"Access violation to address 004A7CDF in module "atitray.exe". Read of address 00000020."
When I click on the icon, any ideas?

WINDOWS XP x64, fully patched using Catalyst 7.1 drivers on an x1800PRO

Guyz do not forget that you MUST install directx9c! If you don't have it, download and install then check again what you got.
Also I'm looking for Vista32, but I see only Vista64! Is last one better that 32 bit? :)

Hi Ray, today i've tried ATT with Vista x86 Ultimate (RTM).
I installed directx 9.0c February '07 release, Catalyst 7.1 and CCC were already running.
I lunched ATT installer (last beta version) with admin account and admin privileges (Vista UAC was enabled), installation went fine.

Now, when i try to start ATT, it only opens its process (attrytools.exe) in the task manager, but no icon in system tray is displayed.
If i run ATT main exe with XP SP2 compatiblity mode, tray icon appears, but i can't open right-click menu (a "loading..." popup appears on the icon), and memory loading increases (90mb after a few moments)

    Here's my system details:
    - dfi lanparty ultra-d
    - amd x2 3800+ with c&q enabled
    - 1gb ddr
    - x1900gt rev2

Hope it can help you :)

    It depends :D
32bit has (now) a better software and driver compatibility, and does not stop installation of not digitally signed drivers, like 64bit do...

    Catalyst 7.2 is out.
Will try how this one works.

I'm Still on latest 6. version because of problems being mentioned here on the forum. Using latest beta atm. Still some lockups when changing profiles on drive lever overclocking. from default (2d) setting to default 3d settings (625/725 no probs, even with xtx settings (650/774 (v1,425/m1,825)) no probs, but with (685/774 (v1,45/m1,945) it locks up quite often when changing to this profile. When I set the values manually, no probs whatsoever an I can 3dmark06 for at least 8 hours without any problem.

In the latest beta Open GL is integrated in Direct3D menu, it's not separate like in old versions, did you meant that to happen?
