New ASUS Prime Z390-A freezes on fresh Win10 install

    I'm having problems booting my pc after installing a Asus Prime Z390-A motherboard I just got. it freezes after installing Windows 10 and hangs on boot as pictured I've re-reinstalled Windows 10 to no avail. Any help would be appreciated!

    I have updated the BIOS to newest version

    EDIT: seems like it is hanging during install I can move the mouse on the Asus logo screen and booting into safe mode it tells me windows can't finsh installation in safe mode

    Hardware:
    GPU: MSI Ati 5700
    CPU: Intel i5 9400F
    RAM: 2 8GB A-Data 2666MHz
    SSD's: Samsung 840 PRO 128GB + Samsung 750 EVO 250GB
    PSU: Corsair TX650

    I think you will need to update BIOS to latest one there, happened to me as well with Asus Maximus Xi Formula, I couldn't install Windows without the updating the BIOS
