Ok...so if this is true...which I don't know how valid this is (won't trust anything 100% until I see a Guru or Anand review/benchmark) but holy hell, 4870 X2 actually scaling correctly with CF? In less than 1 years time they went from somewhat shabby 2 GPU scaling to awesome 4 GPU scaling? Kudos to software engineers at AMD if this holds water.

Still though, is this card going to be too expensive? That's my worry. Everyone wants it, short supply + price gouging = way too high price...

not exactly the best games besides GRID and UT3.

still impressive though, but who the hell is gonna buy 2 of them and have a power supply big enough!.

Yeah, they should pre-bundle these with a small nuclear reactor. :D

Well, isn't going "green" like the in thing right now?

I got the link off another forum, that got that off another forum. I never did a trace, as the picture has a water mark from Chiphell, which is a tech site from China/Taiwan (has an english version too).

I suppose I could go investigate it as I have nothing to do right now at work.

It looks as those these numbers are supposedly from AMD marketing slides.

These numbers are impressive (if they are correct). Let's hope Nvidia is going to release the same kind of SLI scaling with their "Big Bang II" driver release next month.

    Well done AMD/ATI!

Wow ATI hold the mid market with the 4850, the mid-high end with the 4870 and now the high end with the X2. I honestly didn't see this ATI domination coming! Did anyone???

Actually Sideport is disabled on a software level ATM, but the PCIe bridge chip should be boasting interesting results.
