Yeah so, I'm not sure what to call it. But I need a piece of software, or a website for that matter, to help adjust my screen to appropriate contrast/brightness/gamma/etc levels. Basically, the newest ATI drivers messed up the standard profiles, and I'm not able to find suitable levels manually, no matter how much time I spend on it. It's a but hard to explain what it is, but games often have this feature, but I need something a bit more comprehensive to adjust my screen to what it was like before. Like: "adjust the contrast level so X4 does not show", sort of thing.
You mean like a monitor calibration program or just some test patterns ? Some random page from google, but it has some stuff http://www.normankoren.com/makingfineprints1A.html
Not sure how well it works (or what bits are unavailable in the free/trial version) but Everest has a very good monitor color/calibration tool in it.
