As title says, but it has to be bias in favor of amd,:3eyes: yeah i know it sounds weird, but as long as it can be done convincingly.

Most of that is down to an overclocked 6990 dual gpu gfx card, not the CPU.

    ie 3DM11 results.
The reason his system is in the running is because of the gfx score.
The Physics cpu score is woeful.

I fail to see the point of this thread, as you cant compare them. You havent been able to compare AMD to Intel since after the Core 2 was released. Not even price wise.

I went 965 over a i7920 and then upgraded to a 1090t with no change in bios settings outside of an update. Still have the same rig after 2 years and it still plays all games maxed.

What has made this my favorite and best build ever is that this computer has NEVER had a hardware related issue. It has been 100% consistently stable for 2 years. Never a hardware bsod and I had this ****er overclocked.

Every single intel system i've had has been a fighting uphill battle (mainly due to ****ty chipsets, not the processor's). The best chipset motherboards i've had have been gigabyte and WORST have been ASUS for a broad range of products outside of just motherboards.

This is true, but if your that strapped for cash then maybe you shouldn't be getting a new CPU lol. I reckon there is not a huge amount of difference in $$ anyway, so obviously Intel... last time I looked top-end i5 was the best bang for your buck, doubt that's changed. Google for about 5 mins and you'll find out. Skimping on CPU is a bad idea... mmmkay.
