You should really look at a beginners guide to start off with the basics.

-You need temperature monitoring programs (HWmonitor, Intel TAT, Coretemp, Speedfan are some good ones)
    - Flash your mobo BIOS to the latest version. Go the the manf website.
-Get some stress-testing programs (OCCT, SuperPI, Prime95)
-Get into your BIOS and start increasing the FSB little by little, at least in 5 mhz increments. Take voltages into consideration.
-Check your stats by using CPU-z

If you have problems post on the boards. Good luck!

    Cooling.

Thanx for the advice. Will do - and post the results.

Just a question - I am running the stock coolers at the moment - needless to say - they won't be sufficient anymore once I start overclocking.

What coolers can I look at to replace them? What air coolers will do the job well? I'd like a water-cooling setup but it is a bit pricey and my budget is limited.

also, what fan speeds should I be looking at when replacing the stock fans, and can anyone recommend a good brand?

    Thanx in advance guys!
