    For my GT 525m I added the following lines:
    NVIDIA_DEV.10DE = "NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M"
    NVIDIA_DEV.0DEC = "NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M"
    NVIDIA_DEV.0DF5 = "NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M"

    %NVIDIA_DEV.10DE% = Section102, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_10DE
    %NVIDIA_DEV.0DF5% = Section102, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0DF5
    %NVIDIA_DEV.0DEC% = Section102, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0DEC

    Unsigned drivers check in disabled. All goes "okay" with the installation, but no actual driver gets installed. No Control panel, only driver is the Windows default.

    Yes I follow that one in making it. The ID from nVidia Conrol panel is : Device Id: 10DE 0DEC FC501179
    I use that in one of the lines I write. Friend of mine tried to create his own for his GT 520mx (I believe, something similar) and came upon same issues. I try already DDU, same thing.

    Try installing the driver with have disk in device manager.

    Edit: oops, what was said already, fermi will never work with latest driver branches.

    Is that something that won't work in hardware level or it is just software limitation?

    If the 399 drivers don't include Fermi code anymore there's nothing that can be done

    According to Nvidia, any new driver for Fermi will only be security fixes

    Well that sucks. There is still meat in the old 5XX series.

    What's stopping you from using it with the last driver which supports it?

    I have the same GPU (525M) but with latest driver installed I get intermittent freezing when using HDMI on my TV. Could it be driver related? What other drivers should I try? (Windows 10 64bit, Dell Inspiron N5110)

    I installed it now, hopefully it will fix it. It happens really randomly, sometimes every 15min, other times it goes hours with no hard lock.

    //Edit: Same thing happens :(

    Try the latest driver you remember worked without issues.

    It will soon be six months without a new driver for Fermi, wouldn't be surprised if Nvidia releases an official Legacy driver for Win10 1809.

    Last time I used hdmimore extensively was back in 2012 and none of those drivers would work on Windows 10. Installing Windows 7 now would be a heavy downgrade for me.
