Hello all, I'm looking for a new monitor to go with my new 1070ti. These are my primary needs. Would like a 27-30 inch , curved is ok, no wide screen and max amount $300-$325. I'm pretty opened on features, resolution and such. Would really like a high hz 120-144. As always thanks for your help.

Avoid TN panels at all cost would be my first rule. Look into Koreans would be my 2nd.

Both are VA panels so that is ok, but Samsung one is a bit more HQ.

Well you can run it but some newer games will run slower. Mine is 1080p but 90% of the time run at higher DSR.. that said even at 80-100fps it will still look smooth and tear free, otherwise you can try driver fastsync to really eliminate any tearing, it has come a long way and it runs smooth now.

8GB system ram is a bit low now, another 8GB stick would help a lot by newer games.. for example newer Battlefield, cod series use 8-12gb easy,
