Yes, plus the lack of AA ingame. Something which is been a problem in the last NFS titles. It could be because the video was downscaled or there was really no AA on the car. :bang:
^ yea Frostbite engine 2.0 looks kinda disappointing there.. FXAA should be available, hopefully you can tweak LOD too - that drawing grass 10m in front of you looks weak just like by NFSHP..
paint jobs look bland (too little reflection?), you can see the BMW's rear wheel clipping through the fender in the very first screenshot lol
Being a bit nitpicky today, eh? I havent seen a single game without some issues, for me, the game looks great (graphically, of course). Now for some solid gameplay! Also, here's a new gameplay trailer featuring deadly canyons and a Porsche GT3 RS, nuff said: Porsche 911 GT3 RS / Death Valley Gameplay
believe it or not, NFS:HP is my favorite NFS game since Porsche unleashed. if "The Run" is anything remotely similar i'm going to be extremely happy.
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/driving/needforspeedhotpursuit/index.html?tag=result;title;2 liked the gameplay and loved the graphics, yes the remake.
I dont believe that. The Series has always been pretty easy to run, i dont think they would crack the engine up to the max for a rather casual series.
Those screenshots look so damn sharp! (well except for the background and environment which looks pretty lame). New gameplay footage - http://www.gametrailers.com/video/run-for-need-for/718125 Looks great. I was put off by the E3 footage but I'm exicted for this game again The sound is amazing too! It uses Frotsbite 2 (Battlefield 3) engine .
FrostBite 2.0 is supposed to be very scalable, and I also don’t think they will crank this up too high either, but will probably take a very good system to max it. Still likely to be the best looking racer around, just wish they were making a proper racing game with this engine though.
Great vid. NFS always come with awesome sound. I just hope (really) they don't make it automatic-gear only, like they did with NFS-HP. Taking manual transmissions off the game, removes a great element of fun and realism. I mean, most racing cars have manual transmissions.
