Why could they not consider 30FPS as the set target for the minimum requirement, while allowing me to play it at 60FPS what with my system being able to handle it?

I think most publishers set minimum req's with 30FPS in mind anyway, while still not being lazy about it and allowing people with more powerful systems to have a higher framerate.

Either they wanted to give us a strobish, filmish, feeling with the 30 FPS (what with it being close to 24 FPS), or something was going wrong technically when running it in 60 FPS, maybe bugging cutscenes or that certain game elements started speeding up with the framerate (like in NFS:HP, LOTRBFMEII).

Or that the console port was done so quick that raising the 30 FPS cap never came to mind. This is probably it, sadly. I was close to spitting on the monitor during the credits when the "QA Team"'s names came up. ;o

No other Radeon owner has flashing texture problems? I just ran OCCT video test on my card at both stock and OC settings so that is not the issue here...wonder what gives.

Have not heard of anyone with those kind of problems , try rolling back to older drivers to see if it helps , also check the temperatures of your VGA. For me i select in CCC the option for AA where it says " USE APPLICATION SETTINGS " , do not select any kind of AA in CCC. Good Luck.

Have done all that and tried 11.10 (am on 11.11 right now), rolling back all the way to 11.9 does not make sense as BF3/Rage will have issues as well.

Currently also running COD:MW3 all maxed without issues, video card temp never exceeds 80 C in Furmark/OCCT so the hardware is not the issue it's the drivers.

    If this continues, I am getting a 560 Ti/570.

Seems like other people are having the issue too: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1651753&page=6

I even tried disabling catalyst AI and my second screen but still no go.

hmm, hard to say but its probably gpu fault - too weak..

Idk about other stuff, it wasn't demanding on my old cpu.. I have 30fps cap all the time (sometimes it dropped to 29.5fps according to MSI afterburner)..

Agree, they could solve that problem with more programing, but they are too lazy, anyway, considering how game looks, and what CPU have to do (complexity of game) if well programed it could be run on single core CPU very easy..., but that is too expensive for such a small company as EA :)

It hurts to see EA violently rape such a great engine :(

Thanks for the FXAA link, it eases the pain a bit.
