I've always liked the NFS games so I'll more than likely buy this one. Can't wait to try out a demo for it.

that depends actually, the thing i hated about nfsu is that you couldn't get forward if you, like me, refused to make your car look like a driving tupperware commercial.
other than that, it was good fun for an arcade racer, so its possible i will buy it.

why have they taken out damage in the NFSU series, would have been SOOO cool!

Maybe there is little dents,scratches,etc....

 

i remember in both of the underground games in the wipeout sequences your glass would smash. it would return to normal as soon as you returned to your normal camera angle.

I will be there in online game after finishing the game to play with you guru´s.
I hope the 6800GT is enought to play it at 1280x1024 or 1280x720 with all details on high.

 

It should be good enough for you to run it at that setting,interested to see how this will look and run at 1600x1200,with full details.

Yes,i run server's a lot for online games,so nfsmw i will get the server up ready to burn rubber......Oh it is a GT by the way.

 

I really liked the first two, but I already felt like not enough new stuff was added for the second part. I'll definitally grab the demo, and if the game is more than a tech showcase, I'll give it a try!

 

What? I can barely run NFS:U2 at 1024 maxxed details... it must be my pentium

 

I can run NFSU2 all maxxed out and avgerage around 62fps

I run BF2 @ 1280x1024 All HIGH settings and average around 65-70fps

 

But this game doesn't have ferrari cars, sigh.....

It would be great to see what happens to this powerful car in this game.

 

I'm betting they'll make a fully rigged Clio better than a Murcielago, like they did in previous games (where the 1st tier cars were always better than the rest).

Is it me, or does NFS Underground feel like you are constantly driving in the same course? That really bug the heck out of me. Its the same map. They just make a few detour changes and call it a new race map. It got boring for me really fast. I dunno, i think i might pass on NFSU MW.
