Surprise mechanics revealed after release. Pretty sure of it.
Looks so cringy with the spanish girl talking funny english accent but i guess female protagonist in games is sure to make a hit.
why they dont make an underground 3, or remake U2, i cant understand.
Every year im hoping for a decent NFS, because im a fan from NFS U1 & 2....
So Forza Horizon with lootboxes, got it.
No loot box / Micro in Heat.
I mean this is EA we're talking about, they've said games won't have lootboxes before just to add them in at a later date.
I loved the Underground games and this seems to be similar, I'm interested.
I just hope it doesn't have those stupid trading cards unlocking things, that was just so ridiculous.
Well, that's my pc's wallpaper for the time being... xD
I hope they skip the cringy story the last games have had and please please skip the triggered and completely ridiculous characters. They're supposed to be cool and funny with attitude but it's the complete opposite.
I concur, I just want to race not watch bad movies
It has a New Retro Wave, feel to it. Too bad it looks like a woke movie rather than a racing game.
NFS is dead (for me), a long time now...let it rest in peace...
Its one of the best examples where an older IP is getting worse and worse every year or with every new release, which was once one of its best kind.
lol nfs on the ps1 was it? ferrari vs porche? then what hot pursuit the last really good one 15 years ago, i owned it, i know hated the 3rd person however, think i modded a testarossa into the game w a user made car editor that held me into long enough to finish it. and was getting into rfactor and f1 sims.
Just more of the same from out here. the physics have been a bad joke going way back was a major part of the problem other games did most everything better than nfs has in ages. they keep adding more flash and zero substance to now it just a gaudy mess, because marketing told them the kiddies luv that stuff, probably sell 15 million copies vs 25 million.
I'm still playing Most Wanted 2012, that one has the best feel for driving in my opinion, trying to beat every single time set by @DesGaizu hehe
I read that Heat will not have microtransactions of any kind, but this.... well.. it's EA... what's the catch..
it looks stylish and better than the usual reailty based boring style of racing games which is what i can't enjoy anymore
i guess i'll get it for free with Origin premiere just like Anthem , i'm not buying another NFS game
im getting underground 2 feels from it.
The last great NFS for me was Hot Pursuit (2010). I used to play that game every day and it's the only racing game I've ever enjoyed playing online. The last most wanted was decent (where you could swap cars on the fly).
Yup, that's what i've been doing. I'm now back to basic though cause i only play BFV atm on Origin.
