Well, it's a daunting task. It's not like other titles would do day&night cycles by now and totally rock doing it. I'm going back to GTA, the best racing sim anyway.
That horrible drifting camera and the forced online experience, damn it´s like they´re trying to kill need for speed franchise once and for all.
The drifting camera can be turned off, unfortunately not the same with the forced online. I might still give it a shot, i tend to just dig my heels in and totally avoid online gaming without even giving it a chance.
...hey its a great game need for speed rivals... i do hope that in this new version that they are bringing out, that have better communications between drivers .. for the fun aspect. I did get on facebook and ask them a while back now if they can make this release 120fps or unlocked FPS...but they never responded to me.I saw just recently that they have postponed the release due to this fact. i do hope that they do this well. Of course i do too, but in this game you don't want to, other people will have a much bigger advantage then you. I doubt any decent driver will be able to drift perfectly in cock pit view.
Sure! I feel what you say! .... I do best in that view, If i have a new car with no upgrades then it will be hard. I never leave that view. I did try, and i understand why you feel that others will have an advantage from you.... From there distant viewing angles,.. from what you get in the cock pit version. ... But i do win most matches in cock pit view. So it can not be that much of a disadvantage.....
I'm also specifically talking about drifting part, you wouldn't want cock pit view for that. And this game is also about customization, so most people would like to see their cars.
Ah yeah GRID had cock pick view didn't it? GRID 2 didn't, but there was a mod to get cockpit view but it looks ugly.
In the car. You're richie rich but you should drive the car yourself once in a while :nerd: Same old customization stuff from Underground. At least they've made it shiny and HD. Yay I guess.
Any hype I had for this game is gone knowing the pc version isn't coming until 6 months after release.
