but definitely not in this game, this game u have to appreaciate how great the car model looks, it's really very good looking game as i'm seeing from the vids.
A racing game is about the racing, arcade or sim. Im not interested in steering(staring?) at my car while I race. Always online was one nail, no cockpit makes 2.
Not all racing games are identical though, these game are not driving games they are action games involving cars. It's like complaining that an adventure game such as Uncharted has no first person view.
Graphics are simply amazing and gameplay variety is a plus indeed i really hope this is the need for speed we are waiting for one question are they targeting 60fps for consoles?
Need For Speed – PC Version Pushed Back To Spring (March, April, May) 2016, Will Have Unlocked Framerate DSO 6 months to unlock a framerate, I...wh..whatever man. Mean while, Japanese devs releasing pc versions simultaneously with 60fps and even unlocked fps. The hell is going with developers.
I wont be too fussed if they actually use this time to optimise the PC version. Heck, wouldn't that be nice if games actually did that. but the sad reality, PC gaming doesn't make enough money on games like this for them to warrant a large dedicated team. or so the excuse used to go.
well R* took their time with a PC release and it was worth the wait, so i'm gonna take this in similar vain
Imo they should take all the time they need, because rivals was really fd up. Not only was the optimization crap(still is for my rig) but the fps lock was terrible. And yes there was a workaround but come on, not everyone can keep a solid 60 on their rig, if a drop appears the game goes into slowmotion, dealing with this cr*p again no thx. Release it in Q4 of 2016 if you have to.
This is actually good news, the majority of PC games should be delayed until they are in a proper state. It's frustrating to see people pick up games on release, have to tweak it to unlock the framerate and then wait 6 months for the game to be patched and optimised for 60fps. I'm sure some people would rather pay now and play now, but publishers seems to be coming round to the idea that releasing unfinished games is a bad idea.
I agree, it looks like they really got the message about those damn 30fps locks on pc. Still, a lot of game companies manage to get console and pc versions out on the same day and with all the fps your machine can manage. 6 months for 60fps? I smell an excuse. As usual this is just about milking the NFS fans that have both a console and a pc and cant resist the temptation and will end up paying for both versions.
I wouldn't say as usual, i can't find a NFS game that did not have a simultaneous release on the PC, and i went back over 10 years. It's clearly because of what happened with Batman AK and they are trying to avoid mass refunds. It does seem excessive, but have these games not had 30fps lock/physics issues ever since they moved to the Frostbite engine?
lol sorry mate, i wasnt talking about NFS games in the last sentence (although i said it), just console & pc releases. Everyone is maximizing profits that way, R*, EA, Ubisoft, etc etc It's just fishy to say '6 more months for 60fps'. I mean, what's next ? 2 months for SLI, 1 more month for M&KB support? Jesus :wanker:
although we are an optimistic bunch! it will probably be delayed and still end up a half arsed job which doesnt take advantage of anything extra for PC....
I know it looks bad, but i honestly don't think double dipping has anything to do with it, if it was the case then all games would be delayed instead of just a minority. I just don't think they want to deal with PC gamers at the same time as the console launch, and they know it would be alot of complaining and refunds being processed if they released it in a state that was unoptimised once you went past 30fps.
