Problem: LCD Computer Monitor is connected to my 6950 via DVI i am being detected as HDTV in AMD Control Center - and only being provided a maximum resolution of 1920x1080

    My monitor is native 1920x1200

I am unable to gain this native resolution. I have tried an uninstall / re-install of the Latest 11.6 drivers and the 11.6b hot fix through the ATI Install Manager

below i have provided two screen shot of the issue. if you need more details leave a comment. thanks.

How certain are you that your monitor is 1920*1200?

From the model displayed in the screenshot (HZ251H), the various versions of those Hanns-G monitors with that model are *ALL* 1920*1080.

I suggest you re-check the specs of your monitor, I suspect you will find it is indeed 1920*1080 and not 1920*1200. If you are totally certain it should be 1920*1200, give us the complete model number of your monitor.

You can add a custom resolution here.

that's odd - cause when i had an nvidia card my native resolution was 1920x1200 - no doubt on that. i had a gtx 260. ODD! indeed!
