Just downloaded the full game in Steam. Every time I verify the cache it has to download 1 file (which only takes a few seconds) and it throws up an activation manager. When I start the game it shows the splash screen, then a black screen for a few seconds and then exits to the desktop.

Do I have to download the whole game again? I've never had this problem with a steam game before.

    Disable Sli and try again.

Disabling SLI doesn't work. Neither does updating the Nvidia drivers or enabling compatibility mode.

Run steam as administrator, then, try again.

If that doesn't work, then, you might have to download the game again. It could also be a bug in the steam version. The demo runs fine here on 32bit vista home premium, go 7950gtx and 280.28 nvidia driver so it's probably not the driver.

Downloaded it again and no change. I contacted Steam a few days ago and they haven't replied yet. Their support is usually much quicker.

    you can try this.
change your location to united states under "region and language" in windows 7 in location tab.also change format to :English (United States) and on Administrative tab in the Language for non-Unicode programs section, click the Change system locale button and in the new window again select English (United States),restart pc when asked.
had same problem on some small indie games. and for some reason that was the fix...

Thanks wisitor but that didn't work either. I get the feeling Nail'd isn't optimised for Win 7 64-bit.

I'd request a refund from steam and try the disc version.
