If I did it, I would probably be in the emergency room. Evil? Maybe, these are some of the hottest peppers in the world. I am giving them to a co-worker.
Yea I don't think I could do anything from ghost pepper > as a challenge, those habanero whites I'm growing at 150-300k scovilles turned me into a drooling mess for 5+ mins
And boy do I feel it lol. I sometimes have a hot Chinese with them in it. It just gets to the stage where it just hurts and I can't taste anything. My eldest son loves the heat. Quite a few years ago when he was at school, he had some Ultra Death Sauce in a pot and was eating with it. Didn't realize he had some on his hand, and then rubbed his eye. I can only imagine the pain he went through. After I stopped laughing off course. Bloody idiot. Didn't put him off it all though, which is good.
lol yea I've gotten habanero on my hands and then touched the inside of my nose, that brings tears too I always make sure to wash my hands before going for to the toilet though
These people who enter the chillie eating contests. And you see them with their mouths bleeding. I mean what can possess these folks to do it.
Money and fame. They want that big trophy that they can sit on their shelve. But really I think they're just crazy.

Yep, shame, and no way to know until they flower (Yellow spots on the crowns flowers) which mine have too Might buy a few different packets of seeds from a few different sellers, plant a couple of each Not all is lost though, White bullet habaneros are growing in abundance, loads and loads of fruit on the plant, and they are extremely hot
The white bullets are estimated around 300K. Might I suggest growing Jamaican Hot Chocolate Habaneros next season? They are in the 400K-450K range, and have a distinctive smoky flavor. They are used in Jamaica to make the jerk sauce. Mine always produce several hundred pods per plant.
