That did not even resemble, fun.

 

He posts a video of the game, stating he's having fun - and gets bashed for it? If he was bragging I could see a problem, he isn't (unless you count the tongue in cheek title). He shared a gaming experience on a gaming forum. Honestly, some people take this **** too seriously.

 

yup that's all this site does now is bash ppl its to bad this place use to be so nice and friendly i guess all places just go down hill over the years

Well why should we praise someone that isn't really doing much for his team and is just padding his own stats. BF3 is to be played as a team, not as a tanker that doesn't help capture points or get into the thick of it.

Now if he went 22-0 while actually being a team player and getting into the thick of it, I would say congrats. But he is just being a selfish douche bag.

 

Where did he ask for praise? He was sharing a game he obviously enjoys with others. For his trouble he enjoyed a flurry of attacks and put-downs from people that took no time to consider why he was playing the way he was, and instead flooded him with elitest bull****.

Maybe the guy is new to the game? Maybe he doesn't realise he's not being that beneifical? Or maybe that's just the way he enjoys playing the game? He paid his money, he's not cheating or hacking. He's enjoying himself and wanted to share that with others. Maybe give him some constructive criticism instead of straight up attacking him, and at least discern one or two things first? Or is the art of conversation lost on the internet?

 

we all told him he's doing it wrong. that's not how to get the most of fun out of BF. now all he has to do is start playing it properly. he'll have a lot more fun that way.

 

Or maybe he knows exactly what he was doing was worthless and is trolling all of you. The title of the video makes it pretty obvious.

Really? I wont go into the 'fun is reletive' debate, I even agree with you in terms of what is most fun regarding playstyle on a personal basis. But come on, I usually respect your opinions/posts from what I've seen on here. At the least the man should have recieved some polite pointers. He got the opposite.

If he continues to act like this after, then by all means assume he's being a trolling douche. I simply find it utterly intolerable that someone be attacked for trying to share a gaming experience they're enjoying on.. Shock Horror! A gaming forum.

Dam too many haters lurking around here hahaha u rarely see a tank shot a jetplane on mid air wit a cannon and go booM! watch the vid again and u will see how i destroy that jet wit my Big Cannon.

 

Im usually the first person to jump and tell people to be a team player in Battlefield games, but I personally am not going to say that here.

Tanks can be useful in all sorts of ways, and they don't always need to be on the front line.

Is this is best example of being a team player? No.

Is this a GREAT example of someone enjoying a game while providing some level of team support? Sure.



Now.. Had he been sitting back at the "Atennae" tower, with a sniper rifle and a spawn beacon, trying to peg off dudes at the RU Base, or Checkpoint.. Then yeah, Id say get off your ass, stop worrying about your K/D and play the damn game.

 

I wouldn't call what hes doing "team support" more like "lone wolfing"
