I was looking at some of the prices of RAM on newegg today and I couldnt believe it. You can get 2GB of what looks like GOOD ram for under $100... Whats up with that. It seems like it was just a couple months ago when that same RAM was going for $250+. Is this a normal cycle? Honestly, I couldnt believe it.

I noticed that myself last week. It's like thier giving it away.

I found 2 Gig (2 x 1 GB) set of DDR2 800 name brand performance RAM for only $69.00 (no rebate crap)

That's wicked. Hope it stays low.

Now if the damn GPU's would just come down.LOL!

All the newer RAM modules (DDR2) are going down in price.
All the older ones haven't moved an inch :p

It's a normal cycle. Ram prices go up starting in the fall because Tier1 OEM's place and fill their xmas orders. The fall again in the spring as demand goes down. I see it every year.

In other words, if your gonna buy ram, get it before the end of August.

The awesomeness of supply and demand is very apparent right now in RAM. Buy plenty and buy it now .
