Wow, didn't expect that, quite glad i waited for Haswell to come out before buying my new parts I know we aren't allowed to know the price of this item in the UK, but does anyone want to speculate roughly the price band this one will be in?
First batch of Haswell motherboards will have an issue with certain USB 3.0 devices not waking up from sleep mode. Search for "Haswell USB 3.0". Not sure if desktop versions will be getting C1 as the first people to get the boards will be the laptop OEMS - Apple, HP, Dell, etc.
Ah, that is good to know, luckily i don't think i'm going to have any USB 3.0 devices anypoint in the near/late future I mean apart from an external HDD what actually uses 3.0? Ty for the heads up though. Do we even know when these are getting released?
Fixed version? End July-mid August most likely. The revision will be called C2. I too have only external hard drives in USB 3.0 but since we're paying so much money for these, I might as well wait and get the fixed version .. my 920 will hold the line until then
I am on a laptop, which really won't hold out till then, what about the C1, when would that be released, roughly speaking ofc
Well, I've been pleased as punch with the great grandpa to this one, so I'd certainly give it a good look come upgrade time.
and it looks very cheap, lowest price atm is 187€ http://geizhals.at/eu/msi-z87-gd65-gaming-dual-pc3-12800u-ddr3-a952981.html
I'd like to try a MSI mobo, truth be told i haven't owned any kind of MSI product ever. It's the Bios' of the Gigabyte ones i like, and they have good online support too through their forum but sure perhaps MSI next.
