So that will be another range that they cannot clear back orders on, if it Amd i suppose it my ease pressure on Nvidia production.

Shape is pretty much identical. I would not worry I think we will still see some RX 6000 versions with very high overclock potential from the AIBs, maybe even with 3x8pin like you mentioned. Since they did it on Nvidia GPUs already, they should be able to with the AMD GPUs too. ASUS already showed of the RX 6800 XT with the AIO solution and RX 6800 XT leaks with very high Core Clock overclock if I remember right. My guess all AIBs will try something similar since the RX 6000 series seems to be more overclock friendly than Nvidia on current generation.

My guess is they are trying to limit leaks for it and they want to give Nvidia as little time as possible to counter it. Must admit I kinda hope they will take on even the 3090 on most things and hopefully that will result in both competing on prices and pushing the limits on the next generations. Intel too of course when they release their GPUs. Because that will benefit everyone buying from them.
