    hey guys

im trying to update my drivers to newer (because of better performance in some games) but every driver after 16.12.1 is causing stuttering, little fps spikes and not-smooth experience in most games games -> for example CSGO, LoL, Path of Exile

    my pc is :
    Asus z170 pro gaming
    i5 6600k 4.5ghz stable 1.34v
    msi rx470 gaming x 4gb
    8gb ddr4 2400mhz cl12 1.35v (using 2nd xmp profile 2133mhz cl13 1.2v)
    spc enduro fm1 550w
    enthoo pro m + 3x bq silent wings 3
    ssd goodram iridium pro 240gb
lastest windows 10 rs2 insider preview (also i had problems at older, stable versions with some 17.x drivers)

    lg 34ug79-b 144hz

    any ideas?

Have you tried using DDU after you perform a driver uninstallation? If you are absolutely sure that your driver is installed correctly, try turning off "Power Saving" in it, and monitor your CPU frequency and temps.

Also check which Windows power plan you're using. For desktops it's High Performance that's really recommended.

i am always using DDU before new driver install.

    Im using high performance.

chill is disabled, i pumped up power efficiency to +50% and temp target to 75/90
