Maybe it was the infamous overheating memory issue causing throttling.
Maybe they added thermal pads :)

Msi...PNY and Zotac all seem to be lagging getting cards out, according to the charts at Scan they`ve only received the Ventus range in the last couple of weeks so far but Xtrio are due in next week and the week after, hopefully it will be more than the half dozen of each version they have received until now, as for the Suprim X, Scan have no offer for pre order on the 70/80 or the 90....but you will get free hand sanitizer with your card.....YAY

1-2 Months ago bought msi 3090 ventus 3x 24g oc - constant CTD and reboots - after many tests concluded it was the card... refunded the entire PC... got a new one with 5950x instead of 10900k and ASUS TUF 3080 Gaming OC instead of that msi... much cooler temp for the card and stability.... not getting an MSI ever again... cheap garbage...
