You going to review it? Would be nice to know how this handle the vrm temperature.
Will wait for coffee lake before i take a decision, but the 7820x still looks tempting.

Typically there is. Personally I think this board looks good, but I know not everyone likes them. I know that on my ASUS board I can disable them via BIOS or the software utility.

Has an 8 pin and 4 pin power connector so it might not cook its VRM like other x299 boards do.

Yeah, though it's also in cases worse with the heatsink on the board rather than off. Weird that... "cool" looking heatsinks with barely any surface area heating the vrm's instead of cooling them...

HH would you be able to look into that? with the boards having 8pin/8+4pin/8+8pin and the effects of it?

From what ive seen 8Pins seem like they arent enough for the chipset alone,

It has already been investigated. What Der 8aeur came across, was not the same result that other reviewers found after they retested the boards. There has been questions brought up questioning the equipment Der8auer used for testing.

No need for that, my conclusions are sound. Verified it with a thermal camera pointing at the CPU power cables. I think Der8auer jumped to his conclusion a bit to fast though, without checking all bases, and then it went viral.
