We review the MSI EXPERT edition of the RTX 4080 SUPER, it shares its cooling system design with the founder edition but does look extremely enticing. The product is mildly overclocked, remains fairly silent and offers decent acoustics. The aesthetics however make it stand out from the crowd.

imho, easily the best looking Nvidia card since EVGA left the market
i'm loving the Mercedes Benz grille ripoff and if i had any reason to buy a (still) overpriced card from team green, it would be this one.

that +20% power draw though really is a drag when that was one of the advantages for Lovelace

What can explain the 6ºC different on Load, between this card, and the ASUS STRIX version? That one is at 63ºC on Load, while the MSI is at 69ºC.

Different coolers and different fan curve configuration.

Yeah that's for sure. I mean I noticed. But this particular MSI model is 'touted' for its design for air flow. Yet the STRIX is a more typical 3-fan config, and is 6ºC cooler. In other words what I tried to say was that the temp on Load for the MSI model seemed disappointing for being this very, very particular design they came up with (or modified a bit from the reference card, I mean). It does look beautiful though, don't get me wrong. But the air flow on the STRIX is apparently better for Load temps (and, well, gaming, in that regard).
