Hi, i am buying this card from a guy but there is confusion about the amount of ram. The son is saying he saw 4gb in windows and now its 6 with his new card, but a sticker on the card shows N760 tf 2gd5/oc which clearly implies its 2gb ram. So whats going on here? anything dodgy going on or what? Its a twin frozr OC edition by the way. I told him to get GPUz to doublecheck but no response regarding that yet. Heres an image: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/47kAAOSwPAtbUmBu/s-l1600.jpg The seller has said he is gonna stick by the 2gb which is understandable but ill give him the benefit of doubt, so i want to make sure what is going on here
How much is he asking for it? I don't know how much you're willing to spend but you'd be better off with a 1050 Ti 4gb.
I have a 760 4gb, which is why i want another one Not for the performance but for more outputs to monitors
If you google on EAN you get this https://benchmarkreviews.com/674/msi-n760-tf-2gd5oc-twin-frozr-video-card-review/ It's a 2 gig card
a cheap new 1050/rx560 would give same performance using much less power draw. I would do what jb said and get a 1050ti.
It seems most likely it is a 2gb card yep.. bit weird the son thought it was 4gb. Still waiting on them to try doing a GPUz run to see whats up and down for real though, mostly out of curiosity now #airbud7 Thats not the point.. im not gonna pay 4-5 times as much when i dont even need more performance, since im not planning to upgrade the main monitor anytime soon, and only wanting more outputs.
